About me

I was born in 1994, in Bulgaria, and currently living there. My main interest is computer science, but I’m also interested in  science in general. I have a great passion for music and reading - my favourite band is Strung Out (I also love: Fall Out Boy, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Iron Maiden), and my favourite book is “The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe” by Douglas Adams (or probably any book in the Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy series).

My favourite TV shows are The Office, The Big Bang Theory, South Park, How I Met Your Mother and Doctor Who.  I’m not much into movies, but I like Star Wars.

My interest in programming came to be after I installed Game Maker in 2007 and I started programming. Since then, I created one racing game in Game Maker, found it to be quite limited and began learning C++. I started a First-person shooter project (using Irrlicht) but never finished it. After this I switched to GNU/Linux and soon, after building up a lot of ideas for my own distribution, I started Linvo. I maintain this project from 2-3 years, and it can be classified as successful - it peaked at 9th place (out of something like 400) in the DistroWatch classification and received a reasonable amount of attention. Aside from computer science, I like mathematics.

Goals in life for now:

• Significant academic contribution to computer science
• Found a startup
• Not so essential, yet I’ve always wanted to do it: release a large commercial game
